BJP to agitate on MSP for paddy

Correspondent

Chittoor: The State Government has no control over the administration and there is a lack of coordination among the officials as a result the people’s problems were being neglected, alleged State BJP president Bandaru Dattatreya.

Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he charged both Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu with playing vote bank politics. Mr. Dattatreya was here to attend the district executive committee meeting of the party at Kanipakam in Irala Mandal.

The BJP will organise dharnas and rasta roko programmes at district and mandal headquarters to impress upon the Central government on the need to fixing support prize of Rs.1,000 per quintal of paddy. The party will also organise ‘Chalo Tirupati’ programme on November 1 demanding halt to evangelical activities.
