Explosives recovered from Palamau

Medininagar: Three days after the arrest of a self-styled sub-zonal commander, police on Monday recovered four quintals of gelatine sticks stacked in sacks at Chak village in Palamau district of Jharkhand.

The explosives were recovered following information given by the Maoist, Vikasji alias Ravi, Superintendent of Police Udan Kumar Singh told reporters here.

The police also arrested the owner of the house from where the gelatines were found, he said.
