Howrah: The bodies of three trekkers, who had died while trying to annex a Himalayan peak from the Himachal Pradesh side at Pardangla Pass earlier this month, were brought to Howrah on Tuesday as hundreds lined up the road to pay last respect. As the coffin-bound bodies of Amal Dhara, Biswa nath and Bhaskar Bandyopadhyay were brought to Kadamtala bus stand, shops downed their shutters. Local MP Swadesh Chakraborty consoled the members of the bereaved family. The bodies had been brought in a special plane from Delhi.
