DEHRA DUN: Fifteen persons were feared killed in different road accidents in the higher hill districts of Uttarakhand over the past 24 hours. Ten members of a marriage party drowned in Alaknanda when the jeep they were travelling in from Sivnandi to Sonla fell into the river near Karnaprayag, reports reaching here said on Tuesday. Four persons were killed when another jeep fell off the hill road near Narayan Bagad. Similarly the driver of a truck was killed when the vehicle going from Rishikesh to Uttarkashi fell into a deep gorge at Tangala near Chamba in Tehri district, it was told.
