BHUBANESWAR: All Orissa Roadside Vendors’ and Small Shops Association (AORVA) on Tuesday threatened the Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) not to open its Reliance Fresh outlets in the city. The company, which had closed down its outlets following the district administration’s request 10 days ago, is scheduled to open its stores here on Wednesday. "We will try to stop opening of Reliance outlets even at the cost of our blood," AORVA President Pratap Sahu said in a statement released here. The association said for greater interest of common vendors and traders, the State Government should not permit opening of outlets. In the first week of October, the company had faced stiff opposition from vendors.
