TUMKUR: A youth from Bangalore died and another was injured in a road accident at Modavara village in Tumkur district on Tuesday. Police said Venkatesh (20), was riding a motorcycle when an autorikshaw collided with him. Venkatesh died on the way to hospital. Santosh, who was riding pillion, was also injured. They were returning returning to Bangalore after offering puja at the Goravanahalli Mahalakshmi shrine. The police have registered a case. — Staff Correspondent
