Joint Council demand

Thiruvananthapuram: The Joint Council has demanded regularisation of those who have put in several years of temporary service in the post of Attender Grade II in government hospitals. C.R. Joseprakash, general secretary, said here on Tuesday that as many as 1,000 persons were working on temporary basis in the post for over eight years.

There were 4,000 vacancies throughout the State. They should be regularised and given promotions based on their qualification.
