HYDERABAD: Fashion ware, handicrafts, jewellery, household goods, toys and candles -- all manufactured by woman entrepreneurs are to be showcased at the “All-women trade carnival” to be organised by the Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs (COWE) between October 26 and 28 at People’s Plaza on Necklace Road. The event also provides a platform for women involved in service industries like career counselling, medical transcription, home and house-keeping, fashion designing, wedding services, portrait painting, food-processing, travel and insurance, etc. Foreign delegatesThere will be about 150 stalls with delegates from Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Thailand also participating, COWE’s president Suman Kumar told presspersons on Tuesday. It is to be the first in the series of annual programmes to be organised by the group. The organisation has been offering various support structures for aspiring woman entrepreneurs in terms of training, finance and consultancy services. The carnival is being supported from ZDH/Sequa partnership programme of Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, State Bank of India, State Bank of Hyderabad, AP Tourism Development Corporation, SIDBI, Margadarshi Chits Ltd and Andhra Papers.
