BJP seeks Crime Control Act to check terrorism

HYDERABAD: The State BJP demanded that the Government bring in a legislation on the lines of Maharashtra Organised Crime Control Act to check terrorism and deport all Pakistanis and Bagladeshis overstaying in the city.

At a press conference here, party spokesperson N. Ramachander Rao said that in the wake of the twin blasts in the city, the State Government had agreed to bring in a legislation for combating terrorism. Mr. Rao said that merely creating institutions like OCTOPUS and Greyhounds would not serve the purpose.
