Undertrial prisoner dies

HYDERABAD: An undertrial prisoner Laxman, 40, of Cherlapally jail, who complained of abdominal pain on Tuesday morning, died while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital here. The prisoner was initially treated at the jail hospital after he fell sick around 11.30 a.m. As the pain became acute, he was rushed to Gandhi hospital where he died an hour later. Laxman hails from Nalgonda district.
