Family yet to contact us: Srija
New Delhi: Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi’s 19-year-old daughter Srija, who has secured police protection after a run-away marriage, said on Tuesday that she could not rely on media reports that her father had accepted their union and was waiting for her family to get in touch with her.
“This has been happening for a long time. But none of the family members has got in touch with me,” she told PTI.
Ms. Srija, who had married engineering graduate Shirish (22), son of a reputed lawyer last week, knocked at the doors of the Delhi High Court on Monday seeking police protection.
She said her family had the contact numbers of her lawyers but had not got in touch with her. — PTI
