Pankaj Advani confident

BANGALORE: Pankaj Advani, the reigning World billiards champion, was upbeat about his chances at the Asian Indoor Games, which kicks off at Macau on October 28.

Pankaj, on the eve of his departure from here, said: “I hope to continue my good run and though it is not easy given the format, I hope to be back with a medal.”

The other cueists who left along with Panakaj were Shyam Jagitani, Vidya Pillai and Chitra Magimairaj.

The other members of the Indian cue sports squad include Geeth Sethi, Alok Kumar, Manas Chandra, Yasin Merchant, Sameer Talwar and Anuja. — Special Correspondent
