National U-11 chess from today

KOZHIKODE: The 21st National under-11 chess championships, for boys and girls, open at Hotel Sana Tower here on Wednesday. About 200 players are expected for the tournament, which concludes on October 31.

The Indian teams for the World and Asian meets will be selected from this event. — Principal Correspondent
