IT raids on construction company

New Delhi: Income tax sleuths on Wednesday conducted raids on 24 properties owned by construction company ERA in several major cities in connection with alleged evasion of taxes.

The Department carried out searches at official and residential premises of the real estate group spread across the country, including Delhi and Noida, simultaneously and seized cash, jewellery and documents, an IT official said. “The raids were conducted following specific information about ERA Group’s alleged evasion of income tax,” the official said.
