Rain forces BJP to put off ‘Dharma Yatra’

BANGALORE: Following heavy rain, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has put off its third phase of the “Dharma Yatra” campaign, which was scheduled to begin from October 26.
The campaign will now begin from the first week of November.
According to sources in the party, the campaign might resume tentatively from November 2. In the third phase, the party is scheduled to cover eight districts.It was decided to put off the campaign as the Meteorological Department’s forecast indicated heavy rain in these districts for another week, sources said.
