NEW DELHI: Simi Mehra posted a level-par 72 and stretched her lead to 17 strokes after the second round in the fifth leg of the DLF Women’s Professional Golf Tour event at the Golden Greens Golf and Country Club near here on Wednesday.
Simi had an uneventful front nine, the only blemish being the bogey on the par-5 ninth hole. She recovered on the home stretch, sinking a birdie on the 15th, before another bogey pulled her back. Simi closed the round with her second birdie on the par-5 18th.
Saaniya Sharma shot 77 and Nonita Lall Qureshi had a round of 78.
