CHENNAI: An emergency meeting on Wednesday decided to review the measures for strengthening the security of the Ajmer Dargah by the Ajmer Dargah Committee with the help of the Rajasthan government. Blast on Ajmer dargah premisesThe meeting was called by the Union Ministry of Minority Affairs in New Delhi, following a bomb blast on the Dargah premises. Minister in-charge A.R. Antulay, Governor of Rajasthan, S.K. Singh, the Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, who was also the president of the committee, Special Secretary (Internal Security), Union Ministry of Home Affairs, Mahendra Kumawat, Director-General of Police, Rajasthan, Amarjot Singh Gill, Union Minority Affairs Secretary, M.N. Prasad, vice-president and Nazeem of the committee, Ibraheem and Ahmed Raza respectively participated in the meeting which lasted more than two hours, according to a press release from the Prince of Arcot.
