KDCA under-13 trials

VIJAYAWADA: Trials to select the Krishna District Cricket Association’s under-13 team to take part in the forthcoming ACA Central Zone tournament at Guntur will be held at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium here on October 28 at 9.30 a.m.

Players born on or after September 1, 1994, are eligible. Players should produce their original date of birth certificate with two xerox copies and register their names at the KDCA office at 8.30 a.m. on October 28.

School Games trials

Trials to select the Krishna District School Games teams will be held at the Siddhartha Medical College grounds and the IGMC Stadium here on October 26.

Trials for the under-14 cricket team will be held at the SMC grounds and for under-14, 17 boxing, yoga, kho-kho and netball teams, the trials would be held at the IGMC Stadium.

Players born on or after December 31, 1994, are eligible for under-14 trials and players born or after December 31, 1991, are eligible for under-17 selections.

Basha, Rishi to lead

Md. M. Basha and D. Rishi Chowdary will lead the Central Zone ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams respectively in the ACA under-17 inter-zonal cricket tournament to be held at Anantapur from October 28 to November 8.

N.S. Tulasi Rama Lakshmi will lead the Central Zone under-19 women’s team in the ACA inter-zonal cricket tournament at Visakhapatnam from October 28.
