CBI probe sought into death
Special Correspondent
PATNA: Family members of Sanskriti Sinha, an Air Deccan employee who was killed in an alleged accident in the Palam Airport on Monday, have demanded a CBI enquiry into the death.
Sanskriti’s father Arun Kumar Sinha on Wednesday ruled out the possibility that his daughter’s death was caused by an accident, and said only the CBI could unravel the conspiracy behind what he termed a “murder.” He alleged that the silence of the Delhi Police, airport authorities and Air Deccan showed that it was not a mere accident in a well-guarded zone. He said the very fact that a light vehicle was driven with such speed in a sensitive area, where the speed limit should not cross 20 km. an hour, was indicative of the fact that someone had hit his daughter with the intention of killing her.
