Centre for Excellence inaugurated

The ‘Centre for Excellence’ in Sri Padmavathi Mahila University (SPMVV) was inaugurated by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) chairperson K.C Reddy last week.

Citing promotion of excellence in higher education in the State as one of the main aims of the Council, he commended the role of the women’s university in promoting initiatives to create better employment opportunities for women. In his address, he pointed out that universities needed to identify critical potential areas for promoting excellence . In her presidential address, Vice-Chancellor Veena Noble Dass explained the objectives behind setting up of the six cells in the Centre for Excellence
