Meerut: An agriculture department official was caught red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a businessman here on Thursday, police said. District Agriculture Safety Officer Lal Bahadur Yadav was arrested by vigilance department officials while accepting Rs 50,000 in cash from one Chanchal Gupta, the owner of a mosquito repellent manufacturing factory here.
