Ex-servicemen seek house site ‘pattas’

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry unit of the National Ex-Servicemen Coordination Committee on Thursday flayed the government for “not taking steps” to provide free house site ‘pattas’ for ex-servicemen.

General secretary of the committee R. Narayanasamy said in a statement here that the general council of the organisation would meet here on Saturday to discuss issues such as non-allocation of 20 per cent jobs in the Group D service for ex-servicemen for the past six years.
