ICBC to acquire 20 p.c. of S. Africa’s Standard Bank

The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) on Thursday announced that it

had reached an agreement to acquire 20-per cent stake in South Africa’s Standard Bank

for $5.46 billion.
