Charge against BJD-BJP

BERHAMPUR: The Ganjam district Congress has alleged that the BJD-BJP Government in the State is trying to make political interference in the election for the Berhampur Cooperative Central Bank.

Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Ganjam District Congress president Bhagaban Gantayat objected to the recent change in the date of election of the president of the bank . Initially, the election officer had notified that the election was to be held on December 12. But later it was changed to December 23 on the plea that the date had to be changed as the initial notice could not be pasted on the notice board of the bank in time.
