SIRSI: The Department of Archaeological Museum, Bangalore, and MM Arts and Science College, Sirsi, will organise a symposium on “Uttara Kannada District Historical Heritage” at the MM College here on Friday noon. Venkatesh Machakanur, Commissioner of Archaeological Museum, Bangalore, will inaugurate the heritage club at the college. J.V. Gayatri, Joint Director of Archaeological Museum and Heritage Department, Mysore; N.M. Hegde and S.K. Potnis, Joint Director of the Heritage Department, Dharwad; will be the chief guests. G.S. Bhat Upponi, college committee president, will preside over the function, according to a press release.
