Coalition politics
BANGALORE: Vice-President of the State SC/ST cell of Janata Dal (Secular) Doddamani Dashrath said that the coalition politics in a democracy was an experiment and such experiments had their ups and downs.
In a press release here today, Mr. Doddamani stated that coalition governments were still in the infancy stage in the country and Karnataka had blazed a trail of having two coalition in 40 months.
Stating that the history of coalition governments in the country had a chequered career, he said parties have made so many experiments to save their governments. — Staff Correspondent
