‘Indo-U.S. relations beyond just business’

BANGALORE: Governor of Minnesota Tim Pawlenty has asserted that the Indo-U.S. relations went beyond just business relations. Mr. Pawlenty was speaking at a function here on Wednesday.

Financial help

He handed over financial help to two charity institutions — Akshara Foundation that works in the field of school education and Samarthanam which works in the field of empowering visually impaired persons. Mr. Pawlenty appreciated the gesture shown by American companies based here in extending support to the country’s less fortunate.
