Teachers stage demonstration

CHENNAI: Members of the Tamil Nadu Primary School Teachers’ Association staged a demonstration on Thursday and urged the Government to ensure 1:30 teacher-student ratio at the elementary level.

In a release issued here, the association wanted the Government to appoint at least three teachers for five classes instead of two, which is in existence.
