CHANDIGARH: Nearly 24.88 lakh metric tonnes of paddy have arrived in the mandis of Haryana this season so far and out of this six government procuring agencies have procured 14.80 lakh metric tonnes, Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan said here on Friday. He disclosed that HAFED had procured 6.10 lakh metric tonnes, Food and Supplies Department 4.72 lakh metric tonnes, Agro- Industries Corporation 1.88 lakh metric tonnes, Confed 1.54 lakh metric tonnes, Haryana Warehousing Corporation 49,476 metric tonnes and Food Corporation of India 4,981 metric tonnes.
