Prisoner commits suicide

BERHAMPUR: Arsul Pradhan (62), an undertrial prisoner, committed suicide by hanging himself at the medical centre inside the Berhampur circle jail premises. He had been taken to the medical centre as he had complained of ailments. But he committed suicide in a deserted room of the medical centre. Though he was rushed the MKCG medical college hospital, he could not be saved. Pradhan was a resident of Thumapalli near Aska and was in jail in relation to a murder case.
