BANGALORE: The Department of Women and Child Development has invited applications from children aged between 4 and 10 who have excelled in the field of Art, Education, Sports and Culture for the 2007 State awards. The award carries a citation and cash prize of Rs. 10,000. Details can be had from the Planning Officer, Department of Women and Child Development, at No 1 First Floor, Sales Tax Checkpost, Near Kamakshipalya Traffic Police Station, Magadi Road, or on Ph: 23462176. The last date for submitting application forms is November 3.
