Corrections and clarifications

* A sentence in a report “EC clears decision to abolish octroi” (October 25, 2007) was: “The Central Election Commission has cleared its earlier decision to abolish octroi from all the seven municipal corporation areas in Gujarat from November 15.” “Its” should have been “Gujarat’s”.

* In a report “Suresh Raina stars in India Blue’s 12-run victory” (“Sport”, October 26, 2007), the scorecard wrongly mentioned “India Blue” twice. It should have been “India Red” and “India Blue bowling”. (The report was on the Challenger series limited-overs tournament for the N.K.P. Salve Trophy at the Sardar Patel stadium, Ahmedabad.)
