NEW DELHI: The Army Service Corps (ASC) will take on Cavalry-Aspen Crew in the final of the Maharaj Prithi Singh Cup six-goal polo tournament at the Army Equestrian Centre ground here on Saturday.
The ASC rode on Kelvin Johnson’s brilliance to beat Remount Veterinary Corps (RVC) 8-1 in the first semifinal match here. Johnson slotted in seven goals and N. S. Khera struck one as ASC dominated the proceedings throughout the match. For RVC, Robert Watson was the lone scorer.
In the second semifinal, Cavalry-Aspen Crew defeated Drakon 10-5 with Tarun Sirohi scoring six and Ravi Rathore chipping in with four.
For Drakon, Prathik N. struck three and Baljinder Dhillon and Faiz Siddiqui were the other scorers.
