HYDERABAD: In the report captioned “Quality of higher education disappointing: Union Minister”, published in these columns on October 22, the word “not” was erroneously removed in the last sentence. This sentence should read as, “Mere access to higher education, the Minister (Ms. Purandeswari) stated, was by itself not enough.”

With reference to a report carried on page 8 in this newspaper dated October 26, it was wrongly mentioned that Simhadri Express was provided stoppage at Mahbubabad station. The name of the train should have been Simhapuri Express. The timings and train number furnished are correct.
