HYDERABAD: The AP Aided Degree College Lecturers’ Association has criticised the Government’s decision to wind up the teachers’ provident fund scheme, which benefits private aided degree college staff, with effect from October 22 as an ‘anti-employee policy’. The office-bearers in a statement issued here on Friday said the decision of the Higher Education department, based on G.O. 829, dated October 8, indicates that the aided institutions are going to be closed shortly. –Special Correspondent
