OU inter-college competitions

HYDERABAD: The Department of Student Affairs, Osmania University, is conducting inter-collegiate literary and cultural competitions from October 29 to November 1, 2007 for students of campus, constituent and affiliated colleges under the jurisdiction of Osmania University.

Following are the programmes and dates: Dance (Folk /Tribal & Classical) on October 29; Music (Classical vocal solo / Classical Instrumental solo – Percussion & Indian classical – Non percussion) on October 30; Music (Light vocal / Western vocal solo & Group songs – Indian & Western) on October 31; Fine Arts (On the spot painting, collage, clay modelling, poster making and Rangoli) on October 31; Literary – Elocution (English) and Theatre Arts (One act play, skit, mime and mono action) on November 1.

Competitions would be held at Tagore Auditorium, OU campus except for elocution which would be held at the auditorium of University College of Technology. The programmes would be conducted as per the guidelines of Association of Indian Universities.

Interested students should bring their college identity card, eligibility certificate and permission letter from the college.
