Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram took the first innings lead against Kottayam as the two-day under-17 South Zone inter-district cricket tournament between the two teams ended in a draw in Kottayam on Friday.
Thiruvananthapuram after being bowled out for 164 in its first innings hit back and bundled out the host for 115 runs.
Bibin Chatterjee (three for 14) and Kannan (three for 38) shared the spoils for Thiruvananthapuram which got two points from the drawn encounter.
The scores: Thiruvananthapuram 164 in 64.4 overs (Pradyuth 40, Bijilal five for 47) drew with Kottayam 115 in 47.1 overs (Bibin Chatterjee three for 14, Kannan three for 38).
