HYDERABAD: Onnu Onnu Onnu (Suraj Narredu up) claimed the Deccan Chronicle Gold Cup (1,200m), the feature event of the races held here on Friday (Oct. 26). The winner is owned by M/s. M.Ramachandra Rao and M.Rajendra Babu. N.Rao trains the winner.

Objection upheld:

In this race, Christopher rider of Gentlemans Deal who finished second raised an objection against Chary rider of Royal Guard who won the race. Christopher’s objection was that “In the last furlong when my horse was running at full speed, the winner shifted out due to which I received a bump and stopped running. I was carrying 61 kgs due to which I lost a certain race.” The stewards of the HRC upheld the objection and the order was revised as above.
