Subramanian-Pitchai duo wins

CHENNAI: R.N. Subramanian and Pitchai Asokan won the T. Nagar Social Club open pairs event held recently with a score of 65.19 per cent sitting North-South. Vijay of USA and K.R. Venkatraman won in the East-West direction with a score of 58.21 per cent.

Other results: North-South: 2. V. Krishnan & P.S. Santhanam 56.11 per cent; 3. Mrs. Sri Hari & Sunil Verghese 55.68 per cent; East-West: 2. V. Ramkumar & A.K. Narasimhan 56.09 per cent; 3. S. Kailasam & T.M. Suri 58.67 per cent.
