Guest lecture

Engineers must build earthquake-resistant houses in the tectonic plate fault zones and where seismicity was high, said ANU Geology Professor P.V. Nageswara Rao.

During a guest lecture on ‘Plate Tectonics with special reference to earthquakes in Indian Sub-Continent and its environs’ in Hindu College, Guntur, he explained the causes and effects of earthquakes.
