‘Explore career opportunities in private sectors’

ATTUR: Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S. Arumugam has called upon the educated youth to go in for self-employment.

After launching the fourth phase of the distribution of monthly dole for the unemployed youth at a function here on Friday, the Minister pointed out that the nationalised banks were giving loans to the youth to take up entrepreneurial activities.

He said they should also explore career opportunities available in the private sectors. The State Government had initiated steps to provide vocational training to the beneficiaries of the scheme to improve their skills.
