ADILABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Government Contract Lecturers’ Association on Saturday demanded regularisation of their services on the lines of lecturers in Social Welfare Department. A GO containing similar provisions to that of GO 59 should be issued by the Government, the association demanded.
At a press conference here association convenor R. Pragna Kumar and district president Mohd. Khaja said a State level seminar on reforms in higher education with special reference to recruitment of college lecturers was being organised at Basheerbagh Press club in Hyderabad on October 30. The seminar to be presided over by Pragna Kumar will focus on problems of contract lecturers.
