Man gets life term

New Delhi: A local court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for strangling to death a six-year-old girl after raping her. Additional Sessions Judge Vinod Kumar said in a recent order, “The present offence is the most heinous crime and has shaken the social consciousness.” The court awarded life term to accused Rajeev Kumar.
