HYDERABAD: Andhra Bank earned a total income of over Rs. 1,184 crore and a net profit of Rs. 151 crore for the half-year ended September 30, 2007, against Rs. 882 crore and Rs. 146 crore, respectively, in the previous year. K. Ramakrishnan, Chairman and Managing Director, said the bank was celebrating ‘Andhra Bank Utsav’ from October 15 to December 31 with a special campaign for marketing LIC policies and other insurance-linked schemes.
