NEW DELHI: In the midst of Delhi’s fall season polo, India takes on New Zealand in a one-off Johnnie Walker Gold Cup 16-goal match at the Jaipur Polo Ground here on Sunday.
Though the tie is of no real consequence despite being sanctioned by the Indian Polo Association (IPA), it will provide an opportunity for the Indian team to avenge its loss in the World Group qualifiers in Auckland earlier this year.
New Zealand beat India in the World Group opening tie and went on to qualify for the FIP World Cup finals to be held in Mexico.
