High Court sets aside CAT judgment

Allahabad: The Allahabad High Court has set aside a Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) judgment which issued a direction to change the date of birth of a senior IAS official. The CAT here passed direction on February 10, 2005 that the date of birth of Lalit Verma be changed from March 1, 1959 to February 13, 1962. The judgment was passed by a two-judge bench comprising Justices B S Chauhan and Justice Arun Tandon.
