Jalandhar: Centre has released a sum of Rs 2,000 crore to enhance the health facilities in the State under its National Rural Health Mission, officials said on Saturday. The first phase of the programme has been completed and second one is in progress which involves renovation of several hospitals, Rakesh Pal of Jalandhar civil hospital said at a public information campaign organised by State Press Information Bureau here.
