BIJAPUR: In two separate raids here on Saturday, staff of the Revenue and Food Departments seized illegally stored kerosene and rice worth over Rs. 2 lakh. The team raided a godown at Shikarakhana locality and seized 20 barrels of kerosene and 45 bags (each of 50 kg) of rice that was meant for public distribution system. In another raid at Mahalabagayat industrial area, it confiscated 395 bags of rice.
