Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has declared October 29, as general holiday for women employees on account of “Karva Chauth”. “However, all the State Government offices will remain open as usual,” Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said in a statement here. Women observe fast on the day of Karva Chauth for the well being and long life of their husbands, it said.- PTI
