Tension in Lucknow after clash

Lucknow: Tension prevailed in the Bazaar Khala locality here after two groups of people belonging to different communities clashed and resorted to brick batting, police said on Saturday.

The incident happened on Friday night when a religious procession was being taken out from Nadan Mahal road during which some tipsy youths started raising provocative slogans that led to the clash, they said.

Six persons have sustained minor injuries in the brick batting.- PTI
